The rain wraps on the side of the stone shed leaking within. The wind howls as the beast of a storm cascades across the world. A pony awakens on the hard stone floor, her head is in pain, her throat is dry and her flank is sore. As she begins to get up pain shoots through her neck.
 
The room is empty. Nothing was left for the young mare when. whatever happened happened.
 
The filly looks as some of the moisture on the floor near her. it’s dark,and seems to have come from her snoot. “Blood,” she says out loud as the wind whips up ferociously growling at her.
 
The smell of salt fills the pony’s nostrils letting her know that the sea is outside.
