Cheese offers mainly a solid backup in case Pinkie’s killed; he could fill in for her without really any change. Voters do tend to like stability. But that confounds Pinkie’s message; voters who do highly value stability probably aren’t voting for Pinkie Pie or cheese Sandwich. Gilda gets her the Griffon vote in theory, but other than Gabby really that probably involves bribing them, not having one for a running mate. Half of them would probably vote against her because she didn’t pick them over Gilda. Cranky gets her the donkey/mule vote, the elderly vote, the heterosexual vote, and the mentally well vote. So Cranky it is.
