I’ve been meaning to do this for a long time. The first sketch for this piece was uploaded to my sta.sh on November 8th, 2015. It’s been almost a year. At the end of last year I was feeling very burnt out, and this was one of the few things that I was really inspired to do. If you’re at all interested in atmospheric, contemplative stories, steeped in the fantasy setting that drew so many people to FiM fanfiction in the first place, this story is worth a look. It’s nominally incomplete, but the thrust of the story has been made, I think.
