Getting into an almost 1-year old argument, I’ll say the beginning and first half of the first anime is better (to me) than the beginning of the second, But everything from when the first anime departed from the story and the second anime continued, I liked it far more. So that’s why I like both of them.

If it’s based on the first anime, than it’s crap, but if it’s based on the Brotherhood-anime, than it’s okay.
