@TheAbridgenator That makes no sense, since at those same speeds, RD’d be torn to pieces by her own speed too. They’re both capable of withstanding their own individual top-speeds, obviously. And Sonic’s speed is 100% confirmed via in-game situation (see: Sonic Battle; he beats a super copy-droid that has everyone’s abilities, and all seven Emeralds, solo, non-Super, in under 30 seconds, through pure speed alone).

Fun fact: Based on the physics math stuff that a brony did, it’s calculated that Dash’s Sonic Rainboom clocks a top speed of Mach 5 - Sonic’s officially stated top speed as mentioned in the Sonic Adventure DX manual puts him at just over Mach 10, without going Super.
