Some more concept art from Starswirl Academy. This time featuring Rainbow Dash.
It’s concept art. Concept art does not, at all times, HAVE APPROPRIATE COLORING. Look at concept art for any movie or show, they don’t always have the same colors as the final design, and Rainbow’s final design HAS HER RAINBOW HAIR.
Dear Celestia, use your brains. Not having the coloring in her hair for concept art does not mean this isn’t Rainbow. It means they colored her hair red for the concept art.
Maybe red is her natural hair color in the game and she dyes it rainbow colors? Ever consider that geniuses?
It’s red for a reason, but Dash does indeed have rainbow hair in the game.
Or at least it should be, because it’s not poni.

Eh, whatever. As you said, it’s concept art, so none of us know if this is the final product, not even you.
But as gg666 said, she had rainbow hair in, what i presume are, earlier concept art, so it may mean that they’ve changed her concept, but, again, no one knows.
So, now, we play the waiting game.

Jesus have you seen concept art that was ever exactly what the final product looked like? And I mean fucking exact, not generally the same design I mean they kept that original design through the entire production.
