Emerald attempts to examine the river, which is pretty easy because he is already standing in it. Weirdly enough he isn’t sinking into the water. Maybe he can fly now?
 
Emerald realizes that a cool drink of water might do him good right now. It might even clear his head a bit. He leans down to drink out of the stream, but the stream jumps up to meet him.
 
Oh no wait, he just leaned a bit too far forward.
 
Emerald takes a drink of the water. It is by far the driest water Emerald has ever drank. In fact, he can’t even swallow it and has to spit it all out.
