Says you imp! Well, okay, actually I can imagine even if they do it gets boring and hits the same feeling of reading a newspaper on a slow news day at some point. Kind of like how Mirage looks so utterly bored when not trolling Jasmine.
 
Also the average ponyvillian appears to function like the flower trio when facing a threat, so…yeah they would probably freak out whenever they killed something. The Appleoosans seem more like people, but then border towns are always the roughest places in any country.

Ponies aren’t human. They’re peaceful by nature. Doesn’t mean they don’t know the concept of war, but I think it’s been made pretty obvious that they don’t practically worship it the way we do.
