Emerald asks if she is sure this is the potion she needs.
“I’ve tried everything I could think of from the mundane to magical. For the moment, this is my only shot.”
Emerald asks for an explanation of each ingredient.
“Well pheromone fungus is a well known aphrodisiac. So well known it is all but extinct. I’m still searching for where exactly we can find them, but they are likely going to be in a deep, dark cave somewhere out in the boonies.” Joyride says, running her finger down the list.
Emerald nods and leans forward with curiosity.
“White Deer Antler is going to be tricky. White deer have huge religious significance to their culture. Most of the time deer with white coats are secluded away and protected in the Antler Palace up north. From what I understand, they also bury the deer there when they pass away as well.” Joyride says, scratching her cheek, “Royal Giant Jungle Wasp Honey will be both the easiest to find and the most dangerous. The fact that they are giant jungle wasps should give you enough hint to that. There is also the fact we’ll have to pass through the battle zone to the west to even get to it.”
Emerald shifts in his chair. Both of those certainly sound dangerous. He wonders if he can find some sort of bug repellent potion in any of his books.
“Love Hibiscus is actually pretty readily available in certain apothecaries. It’ll just be incredibly expensive. And lastly~!” Joyride says with a flourish of the recipe, “Succubus hair. It needs to be a real, true blooded succubus. Not like ‘Stargazer’. She was just a pony who was deeply immersed in their magic. I was hoping to interrogate her and find her mistress, but I sort of lost my chance. If I’m lucky, she’ll do something stupid and I’ll be able to find her again.”
Emerald looks at his feet. He still feels responsible for losing Stargazer.
