@dragon-Commando Electronics are not common items in Equestria. At least when the series started, the writers and artists unless they needed it for a gag. If a lower tech item would work just as well for the gag, they were supposed to use that. Lauren didn’t even want the steam engine to be in the show, but she relented that point because of the wild west episode. Electronic devices that the ponies use are actually magical items that happen to look and work like devices we have. So they don’t necessarily have a lot of the devices we have.  
Though since Lauren left the show, I don’t know if the writers and artists will hold to that, unfortunately.
