I will say this, the ending and the rest of the episode was still good and awesome
all but the whole stuff that had to do with the magic, and in a way that kind of transformed Star from a Heroine to a Anti-Heroine
Cozy Glow was just going to move the magic from her world to another world, which isn’t really destroying the magic itself
I still like Star, I just think she wasn’t thinking when she started to blame the magic for everything
it wasn’t the magic that was in the wrong in the first place it was the people who used it and there were only a few in her family
that didn’t use it as a means to Geno All Monsters or taking it from her older sister and have some kind of ego saying that the wand was meant to be hers instead
or mommy playing favorites and giving her older son’s wand to his little sister.
plus the only reason why the magic in the realm of magic was slowly becoming corrupted
was because of Moon, she brought that darkness and corruption into the realm of magic after Eclipsa stop her from trying to kill her daughter Meteora,
Star and her family and even Marco, might think it was the right call to destroy the magic
but I don’t think it was even if those who have worked on the show did do a awesome job in that episode
but was it really necessary with the whole magic being destroyed?
if it means that it would kill those who were basically born from it or are descended from it?
in a way the last episode is not a happy or a sad ending, well it’s kind of both
but it is like in between.
well that episode did inspire me to create the SVTFOE-Fanon very own Neo-Realm of Magic, that I drew as well as the new wand that can split into two parts which is a sword and shield
of course when the wand is split into those two forms it can not use spells and the only magic that can be used is the whole the sword and shield merging back into wand form.
and it would count as a AU, which when the Neo-Realm Magic appears, it means that Star and her family will get the cheek marks once more.
I think this crossover moments fits because of the slight similarity to Star and Cozy but still all the same different
both wanted to get rid of magic but in different ways, Cozy only wanted to move the magic to another world
but Star wanted to destroy it……Cozy of course failed in her plan while Star succeeded.
Cute, too bad it’s inaccurate.

If this is your idea of fun today, please at least keep it civil.
Those aren’t ways to make it better, those are meta excuses on why you hate the show in general. Also if you’re gonna claim everything sucked since season 1 then stop complaining in general.
We’re talking about what Star could have done in this situation considering the fact that she was pushed into a corner with no other option.
Otherwise? SHUT. UP.

“You botched the open heart surgery and killed the patient.”
“Well, I’m not hearing how to do it better.”
“I’m not a heart surgeon but IVing methyl alcohol into the patient wasn’t a good idea.”
How about not bending over backwards to make this retarded finale happen in the first place?
How about no cheap betrayal by Moon?
How about not making a joke character the ultimate villain?
How about not making Star, out of fig nowhere declare she hates magic?
How about writing a story that makes sense instead of crap just happening without explanation constantly? Granted that was something since Season 1.
I’m not hearing any better ideas.
Once again, her friends were on death’s door and pretty much the rest of them were going to be slaughtered. The only way to stop them was to cut off their source of magic.
And once again, it’s implied that only a certain Source was cut off, not all of it. If that were the case then Pony Head wouldn’t be around.
So she commits genocide to prevent a genocide.
Brilliant.
You can always write the characters into a scenario that’s way worse than what actually happened in the show.
Unless you had a better idea on how to defeat them… there Was no other option.
Yeah, and they just collectively shrug it all off.
IT’S AWWWRITE.
Glossarick and Hekapoo couldn’t care less about being erased from existence.
Omnitraxis’ and Rhombulus’ death is played for laughs, but it’s fine since he got character assassinated to death this season.
Toffee was just a dick.
Star at the very least had a legit reason.
As I said before:
In other words the only way she could have defeated them was by cutting off their source of magic.
Also, only certain magical creatures died, not all of them. If that really were the case then Pony Head and family, along with several other magical creatures we see in the final episode wouldn’t still be alive.
Villain.
Star does it in 5 minutes and commits a genocide, everyone shrugs it off and the universe bends over backwards to let her date by merging realms and unleashing untold chaos and death.
HER-O.
However, that is just a new beginning. Star is still overcome with guilt after Omnitraxus reveals to her that she and Marco felt no remorse for any of the magical creatures they killed off after doing it for nothing because Mina walked away scot-free, so Star punishes herself by jumping off the same cliff where Mina’s army pushed off the monsters. She gets Star Fan 13 to chew her out for it and go back to being Bethany Fan 13. Hekapoo jumps off as well because she feels guilty for disagreeing with the MHC when they were clearly in the wrong, but also because she wants to get Star Butterfly back and convince her that everything will be okay and she should not worry about what she and Marco would have done without Quasar there to warn them to not do it.
