[This is from my home town, and I actually lived part of my childhood in the houses behind the tower, so this is very familiar landscape for me, so I thought it would be funny to put giant ponies there.]
Applejack watched, half submerged, as Twilight carefully stepped over the tiny trees. “Just come in water, Twi! It is not cold.”
“It is not that, Applejack, we can flood the houses on the shore here if we are not careful…” Twilight said as she slowly walked into water. She looked down and saw that the water only came to her hooves. “Little shallow but otherwise this is nice.”
Applejack snickered. “It is deeper here where I am sitting. And I didn’t cause that large waves.”
Twilight smiled as she felt the lukewarm water, she waded to Applejack and splashed some water to her face, “I saw what happened, Applejack, tinies had to run away from the shore, thank Celestia you didn’t jump in.”
Indeed, when the two giants had come and Applejack had first seen the sea, the farm pony had immediately trotted into water, causing waves crashing all over the bay area, threatening to capsize boats that were sailing in the bay that time. One had even come close to the giantess to complain but Applejack had only smirked, inhaled and given the tiny sailboat a “gently” blow, blowing it further from her.
Eventually things calmed down as they just sat there peacefully, some small boats had even come to greet them, and Twilight and Applejack had lifted few of the tiny boats from the water, giving the tinies quite a ride, the boats were small enough to easily fit on their hoof.
“Aahh… This was so nice…” Applejack sighed and walked towards the shore, Twilight had decided to stay in the water for a while, and was smiling until she saw Applejack reaching shore and realized what she was about to do.
“Applejack, no!” Twilight yells, but it was too late. Applejack shook her body, and water was thrown everywhere, soaking nearby houses, cars, and people.
“What?” Applejack turned her head to Twilight after she had finished shaking her body dry.
Twilight was facehoofing, still sitting the water. “Nevermind…” She sighed and muttered to herself. “I don’t want to ask if she did that on purpose…”
