Sister princesses Larvae and Pupa are the firstborn royal heirs to Chrysalis’s throne. Usually changeling do not have more than one queen at a time, but these two seem to be an exception. They were raised in a very small group consisting of unreformed changelings and other non-pony creatures.
 
Pupa was the first to hatch, a sleek dark blue chitin and long ebony legs. She’s quite a bit more vicious than her sister, and possibly even her own mother. Pupa doesn’t care how she gets something, just as long as she gets it. She cares for no one save herself, and actively enjoys causing misery and pain to others. Pupa is also much more talented in unicorn magic than pegasus or earth pony magic, due to her father.
 
Larvae was the second, chubbier than her sister (by changeling standards) and far more colorful. Vastly different from her mother and sister, far kinder and sweeter than she had ought to be. She is always considering other people before herself, usually much before. Larvae has a balanced etiquette for all pony magic, but her favorites would be pegasus and earth. Larvae’s bright colors and personality may have been influenced by her father.
