I wouldn’t. Pegasus Fluttershy was alway the one for me. Unless she dressed up as Princess Celestia with a fake horn, that’s OK, but a real horn, IMO, doesn’t look right on her. It’s just doesn’t.
I thought you would be happy if she became an Alicorn since she would have wings again.

That’s even worse! Even XK-class-scenario worse.
Please don’t make me sad, I’ve had a bad enough day as it is hearing about G5 and Twilight, Pinkie and Fluttershy swapping species. I’m too close to depression. I’m OK with Rarity, RD and AJ like this, but not the other 3.
I will only love the G4 species of Twi, Pinkie and Flutters, and if it’s in this style (not species), I’m OK with it, but swapping their species out of the blue is just plain crossing the line.
And if you’re joking, please stop it. It’s not funny.

Gen 3 Fluttershy was an Earth Pony, current Fluttershy is a Pegasus. An unicorn Fluttershy for Gen 5 seems fair to me, because she would be going through the three main pony species!

No. No, no no. Hell No!!! It’s not about time! Why doesn’t anybody love Fluttershy as a pegasus!?
Fluttershy already took Pinkie Pie’s wings from the production of FiM. It’s about time that Pinkie got her wings back!
The horn doesn’t fit on Fluttershy at all. It just doesn’t fit her one bit.
No wings - no winghugs. ;(
Then that means the production team are making a colossal mistake wanting to make Fluttershy a unicorn.
And besides, if Fluttershy becomes a unicorn in G5, MLP is ruined forever.
Please don’t take her wings away!!! ;(

Well, there’s a really, really, really small possibility that Twilight and Pinkie may regain their original species later in production (mainly Pinkie… Twilight not so much). Fluttershy… Not a chance, everybody in the production team likes her as an unicorn!
