Posted three years ago, yet seems semi relevant again. I hope things get better for everyone.
To be fair, 20-22 km/h it’s my peak. I only can run at that speed for only like 2-4 minutes (even less sometimes) before running out of breath (I actually try to case a motorcycle before, though at the end of the day the motorcycle out run me, because I running out of breath), so I usually run at about 14-15 km/h if there isn’t anything crazy that I do like chasing a motorcycle XD
Edited
So if 1 KM = 0.6 miles and if my math’s not off…
If I’m not mistaken the high end scorers in the US Army physical training do 2 miles in 12 and a half minutes, or 6:15 per mile. You are suggesting you do a mile in 5 minutes or less. Are you an Olympic athlete? Not saying it is impossible as some record breakers have pushed like 20 MPH but holy damn boi.
Yeah, I am quite an egghead.
I am not sure if can carry 120 kg of barbell and running at 20-22 km/h is consider as weak
Hmmm, I remember a lot of random strangers in my school know my name and greet me
I only filled 1 requirement and yet I joined the team XD
Wow. This comment section has been way less dramatic than I was expecting it to be. If the only real deleted post was this one….
Well look at that~
All it took was 5 months! =D
So yeah… perhaps not.
corrupt mods are the worst.
Indeed.
Back then I really was searching for places to discuss FiM online. It’s actually what drew me to /mlp/ in fact.
Nowadays it seems most of these places are past their prime.
Yeah, be glad you never frequented it. At least now. When I joined it, it was something nice, back in 2013. I honestly prefer this site myself as well. Moderating is a part of it, as I rather enjoy helping around the site.
@ArkyNoid
Meh, probably partly due to the anonymity, but other than that, not sure why a fair few people are troublemakers here. MLPF had it’s fair share of them as well, of course.
Any theory on why that might be so? As in why the behavior here in particular?
Heh, sounds like the site I was a mod for. Corruption doesn’t/didn’t? even begin to describe it.
I don’t frequent any pony site other than this one, Fimfiction (barely nowadays) and /mlp/. I really don’t care for the fandom or its content-creators. I have tried, but I just can’t get into it, even at its height.
Although I did show more enthusiasm for pictures and stories back then, as anyone can tell from my past comments.
That’s an understatement. The main community site is Poniverse which the staff act and treat the main forum like a for-profit corporation, and the staff are pretty corrupt and it even has a PR. A privately owned site shouldn’t have PR.
@Josh103
Really? It’s probably one of the oldest if not the the oldest community brony forum, and the biggest. Thought it has seen better days, and the community has been shrinking. Mostly due to corrupt staff.
Nope. I actually had no idea that site existed until you mentioned it right now. Is it another hotspot ripe for drama?
>MLP Forums
I’ve heard horror stories about that site’s excessively strict moderation.
I imagine this place would be a bigger drain on your sanity compared to said other forum, due to how some people tend to be on this site.
Also, would said site happen to be MLP Forums? Curious.
Though if I was a moderator which I was for another forum in the past, I would be a good one due to how I am… but unfortunately too passive unless it was REALLY obvious a rule was being broken. Like, “this is probably breaking the law not merely our rules” type of thing.
It’s one of the reasons I ended up quitting being a moderator for that forum. I did not end up agreeing with the rules I had to enforce which as you can expect is a pretty significant problem. Of course, what I think doesn’t matter, as a moderator I have to enforce them regardless of what I think… but when it started to affect job performance, it wasn’t a good. Yet my peers didn’t care…
Does it for free indeed. Free, other than your time, and sometimes sanity.Unless you never had it to begin with.
Wait, there are (USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST) edits in the comments?
