Which is well and good for fan fiction or fan art, but they’re probably not going to investigate Twilight swinging by the human universe to see Flash in the show or in a future movie. Twilight’s one crush is probably going to be quietly buried, the show writers have never seemed all that keen to rehabilitate Flash and almost seem to be including him under protest, with a minimum of appearances.

How disappointing.

She doesn’t express interest in him. I think the writers are acknowledging that it’d be weird for Flash to just switch to dating human Twilight seamlessly as though they’re the same person, the same way despite one blush pony Twilight hasn’t pursued pony Flash. The relationship stuff will probably stay between human Flash and pony Twilight (and thus we’ll probably not see it again since she’s probably not revisiting CHS).

It might make more sense for Human Twilight to fall in love with Flash than Pony Twi. She receives little love, platonic or romantic, at Crystal Prep, so if she met someone who was interested in her, she’d feel welcomed and happy.
