I thought Yamino was just some fugly brit and they was making fun. Lawdy but they have some horrendous wimminz.  
Well, whoever she is seeing she should rec to PT because she still looks more like a chick.

I shouldn’t have said nothing to do with it but most of it stems from that her conduct.
 
That said I’m not really a fan of Yamino either for more or less the same reasons.

If only that were true. Tinker is a walking dramabomb and she’s done many objectionable things for which people justifiably dislike her, but you can’t deny that there’s been a lot of transphobic hatred thrown in there as well. People wouldn’t know or care about her if it weren’t for the con drama but that’s definitely not the only factor for many, and they’re not just saying shit about it because it upsets her.
 
It’s been problematic because the double whammy of both PT and Yamino being MtF trans brought out a lot of pretty disgusting behaviour by parts of the fandom (parts that are entirely too large and vocal).

BP said what I was going to say. People really have an issue with her conduct toward other cons and trying to get sympathy from the staff.

Yeah, they know it gets under her skin so they keep doing it, and getting Purple Tinker mad is something /mlp/ unfortunately loves to do.

She has tried and honestly still is trying to smear Canterlot Gardens and Everfree Northwest,not to mention trying to drag show staff into her personal vendetta.
 
Insulting her just because she’s transgendered is unacceptable. But this beef she has with other conventions to the extent she has taken it is ridiculous.

Yeah, I don’t know what happened, but this whole situation is a mess and like I said, don’t trust any side of the story from anyone involved. The only thing that happened was people didn’t even treat her that badly for what she did, but when they found out she was trans, it got worse.
 
Of course there are people who have negative opinions about her that are based on the things that she supposedly did or the way she acts around people, but that’s beside the point.

Alright I was just wondering because I don’t know many trans people so I don’t know if they get upset when people ask that.

She identifies as a woman but is biologically male. I refer to her with female pronouns in respect to her personal preference.

I agree. The worst part of all of it is that she’s bullied and treated like shit for being a trans regardless of what may or may not have occurred. That’s what makes it so sad.
 
From everything I ever saw posted all I ever saw was out of context quotes and circumstantial nonsense that leads to nothing.

So is Purple a trans going from a man to a woman, or a woman to a man? Is it insulting to ask that?

Pretty much this, I personally don’t know who to believe, but don’t really care. The only thing I feel strongly about it the people who hate her because she’s trans and call her a man. Totally inappropriate, IMO.

That is quite the clusterfuck. People will always be people.
