At this point, turning back would actually do more harm.

I admit, the possibility is a beautiful one. But the show has come so far, done so much with its current direction, that to turn away from it for this would just seem wrong.

What’s cute about Twilight right now is that even though she’s a princess who has her own right t rule and a guidance figure to many who know her. She still treats Celestia as Master and Teacher.

Twilight was just as bad as Sunset shimmer with having no friends, until Amending fences and Canterlot wedding changed that. She failed because she didn’t want to wait for Princess Celestia to give her a partially completed spell.

Would have preferred this over Twilicorn quite a bit.

i see what you mean but when i look at this i see somebody from university graduating to be honest.  
huh maybe that is why shimmer failed because she focused on nothing but the academy while twilight learned the…magic of friendship.

there is no fight, just people that can not accept something, i love this design but i love twicorn too, instead of being a professor she became a leader, instead of pure academic knowledge she learned friendship, kindness, truth, loyalty, how to have fun and chill out a bit and from all that she became something better, i accept twicorn because it fits just as much as anything else and what we have gotton from that is adorable, fun and awesome.

Okay, I see what you mean. I too assume she graduated from Celestia’s school when she was a filly. But I’m under the impression that this image has to do with her graduating from being Celestia’s student, something different than the school, what Sunset Shimmer was previously.

We will never see Twilight giving out diplomas to her own students as a professor in her academic regalia. She will never be the next Star Swirl.

I’m not disparaging Hasbro Marketing’s decision to push toyetics upon the studio. I’m sure as far as the investors were concerned, it was the right decision at the time. I’m just saying this particular piece is the wrong image to defend that choice.

whatever, the point is that if this costume ever appears my bet would be a flashback episode showing celestia’s gifted school since we have seen nothing on it and a young twi.

I never said anything close to that at all. I’m just trying to figure out what event made you think Twilight wasn’t Celestia’s student. It was mentioned all throughout season one that she was, it was the main cause of Lesson Zero.
