Indeed, it seems like most people just go for the ‘already established’ background ones. The newer background ponies do get some fans, but usually just a few strong ones.
I know right?…does the fandom still make background ponies? I mean, I only know the most popular ones like DJpon3, Octavia, Bon Bon, Lyra, Derpy, Dr. Hooves and a couple more. However, it seems after season three, no other background pony was made.
Well then I’d love for them to become very popular secondary/side characters. :P
