I saw this picture during the one part where Velvet’s leg was sliced off by the One Hellhound and I was freaking out and crying at the same time because I did not want Velvet to die like that as she is my fifth favorite character in the Fo:E universe (behind Littlepip, Morning Glory, Rampage, and Blackjack in that particular order and yes I was exposed to reading a bit of Project Horizons before the original Fo:E because my one friend told me to). Then when that part progressed and she did live, it was a hudge relief for me personally.
 
 
Case and point, this image scared the shit out of me when I first saw it. Other than that bit of useless information about things because reasons, I still have to saw that this is a fantastic picture.

She is supposed to have both good and bad traits like a real person, being bitchy is just one of those things. Would you rather she be a perfect goddess with no flaws? I don’t see what character development would happen with her gone instead, but I have to say I was disappointed when Steel hooves died, as it left a lot of his back story unanswered. But I guess that’s what made the story so good. There is so much more to cover in that world and characters; but with a world such as the one they live in, it doesn’t really matter what you want. Could you point out any points where she had plot armour? I don’t recall any moments and it has been years since I read it. Makes me want to go back and read it but I don’t have the time.

I wish. Velvet was a biiiittch. Plus she had plot armor, which is bad writing. She should’ve died instead of SteelHooves, would’ve made for much more interesting story and character development among Littlepip and her group.

In hindsight perhaps I should have used this instead since that symbolism gives new meaning to the line “one day your bird is gonna fly”.

This didn’t happen in the story. Not very often you see things like this, and so well done, too.
