The clip is actually legit. That’s Frank “Cannonball” Edwards (1887-1989), a carnival and vaudeville performer who claimed to have a stomach of iron, and this is him taking a 12-pounder to the gut. This clip’s shown up in a bunch of cartoons over the years and was once parodied by Homer Simpson.
