Now then as I said before you are not the one who forced them to fight with each other they managed that little feat on their own but when you take sides like you are now by saying the other BG is right and the other is wrong DOESN”T HELP THE SITUATION.
 
If you all can’t talk in a non argument fashion then don’t comment this happens too often now and a lot of us are sick of the drama just get along don’t fight just because you are BG ponies doesn’t mean you should feel like your free to start fights in the comment sections.

All I did was state my allegiance to one of the arguing parties. I didn’t start or participate in this “debate” so I really don’t see why you are accusing me of being responsible for its existence.
 
Also, to have a civil discussion you would need to have both parties civil. Look who has been making unsupported claims about staff being on their side and acting like jerks by outright ignoring most of response comments and requests for proof.
 
Furthermore, no one ever said that any ship sucked or was worse than any others. All I and the other person said is that we PERSONALLY don’t support it, is all. I am pretty sure that is within our rights =)

It’s the fact there is a huge argument where a reasonable comment section used to be is a bad thing. It’s just a huge dick measuring contest and nobody has time for that.
 
Looking this thread over a bit your the spark that ignited this whole thing you weren’t directly a part of it so I’m not blaming you so don’t think I am but this did all originate from your comment.
 
Here’s a tip for everyone here GET ALONG have a civil discussion don’t force your opinion that something is canon that’s annoying and don’t tell people that their ship is bad just because you don’t like it.

Not to be a dick about it, but I’d have a really hard time believing that. For one thing, I’m assuming there was no recorded proof of any kind to confirm that, but even if there was, since it was off the record and in a one on one conversation with a fan, it’s possible and maybe even likely Larson was just being pleasant and not trying to shoot that guy down to his face after he’d just paid for an autograph session.
 
I say that because, Larson was also present at the infamous BABSCon panel when the Sparity age issue was brought up, along with Amy Keating Rogers and others… it wasn’t just Meghan McCarthy who “shot Sparity down” (more than just clarifying the adult/child problem with Rarity and Spike, they specifically said a relationship between them wasn’t appropriate, which means it wouldn’t be right to pair them up like that). More than one of the writers chimed in explaining why it didn’t work between them. And he’s made numerous comments that have an anti shipping flair on Twitter before.
 
I’m not saying it’s definitely wrong, just that I don’t think there’s good reason to believe in that. But, somebody should ask him about the incident specifically on Twitter, and ask him if he said that or not and if so, if he was serious. At least that way we’d know for sure.

I don’t see how I was a “jerk” anywhere. I definitely didn’t try to be. I never insulted anyone, responded angrily, broke any rules, or came in here hating on the art or the ship. I asked someone to speak for themselves (in other words not state opinions as objective facts) and said that the show staff have already addressed the Spike/Rarity issue, so there’s no need to ask them about it.
 
Feel free to point out where I came off like a “jerk” or “ruffian” anywhere there. I’m sorry if you took it that way.
