You’re welcome to your opinion but I disagree with it. Rarity isn’t awful (though I do take great joy in calling her a background pony, thanks season 3, since AJ’s my favorite, closely followed by Fluttershy) but she is still constantly vying for my least favorite of the mane 6. (Depending on how obnoxious Pinkie Pie is in any given moment)
Chart clearly is pointing at best pony.
But background pony is third from the left.
I know you mean it as a joke but when it’s done with a character that’s already the least popular of the group it feels like I’m being kicked while I’m already down as a fan of hers. It’s hard to personally take as a gag when being irrelevant becomes such a longstanding association with her… it’s made it really hard to have fun with the fandom because of that y’know? Ah well, you didn’t mean harm but it stings me seeing that all the same.

Sorry to dissapoint you, here in Europe it’s also from left to right. Applejack is still best Pony, no matter how you see it.
Pinkie Pie is best, followed by Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Someshit Sinner, and Background Pony.
It’s one of those European machines.
Or it may be purple merely to create pleasant-to-eye color contrast.
