Most characters who were silhouetted were either new season 5 introductions or had be altered whether as temporary gags such as “Orchard Blossom” who was really actually BM in disguise or permanent like the CMC receiving their cutie marks. A few such as Coco Pommel, who was introduced previous season, seems to be the same unaltered.
I don’t know if Starlight is going to receive some altercations of some kind. The worst that can happen is maybe if she either grows extra limbs or have her cutie mark changed to something supid.

I’d rather see her actually try to be good. Plus the fact that she’s heavily advertised in future toylines with the M6 puts a few holes in that.
Heck, there’s loads of potential plotlines you can do with a learning Starlight. One /mlp/ anon had the idea of her actually listening to Twilight’s lessons, but implementing them in life in terrible yet hilarious ways.

The one element that I do hope is not “shut down” for S6 is the map. There’s zero reason not to keep the map around to help point to more friendship problems with other pairings/groupings and to engage in more world building.
Yeah, they still have many combinations of character interaction they can try in the future. It doesn’t even have to be just two ponies. But 1 - 6, or even trios, quads, even exclude one pony for the episode if they have to. Though I wish the Map’s power extends to secondaries.
@Masem
Well that wouldn’t be the first thing to be scrapped in favor of something new. Letters to Celestia/journal writing, Castle of Two Sisters… But since this is an actual element of the castle’s furniture (and a huge one too :P) it just might be permanent. Unless this Cutie Castle is gonna be the new focus, though it may be more of a CMC thing.

Don’t worry guys. I’m 100% positive the map isn’t going away. They’ve only used it about, what, four times this season? There are more Map episodes to come in Season 6.
