a Sword is more suit for Royal then a Morningstar, Morningstar are more use by Guard, plus the sword Celestia is mix with magic who can give massive damage and if the weapon is use right, she can cut the armor or weapon of her foe.

Sounds neat- H.E.A.T.

Celestia: Heaviest armor and shield make her defensive role pretty clear. It suits her protectiveness over her ponies.
 
Luna: Second-heaviest armor and a weapon with good reach (although telekinesis sort of negates the need for such). It’s an axe-halberd mix, and the end of the swing would have more force; a more aggressive playstyle, but capable of keeping someone who would otherwise be adjacent in melee combat away while still attacking. Appropriate for someone so private like her, and heavy offense is just suited to Luna overall.
 
Cadance: The bow keeps her farthest away from melee; it keeps the deaths and blood of those she’s fighting against distant from her, and hopefully the trauma of war would not carry over so greatly into her home life.
 
Twilight: She’s quadruple-wielding, which I imagine requires a damn lot of brainpower. Also suited to her, and using the lightest armor to keep her maneuverable with her small, less-suited-to-blocking swords.
 
 
Overall, I find the weapon choice quite appropriate. I would have preferred that Celestia wield a morningstar rather than a sword, though.

I’d have to take Celestia to tank and Cadance to range DPS. Can Twilight heal? If not, she can sit on the cheering bench with Luna.

Twilight: Looks like there’s a Friendship problem happening. Nothing some good, cold steel can’t fix.

Well, if she has to use telekinetic weaponry, chakrams would be better then the swords.

Twilight often uses telekinesis on multiple objects at once (levitating all six of her friends for example).  
So if she she were to bother with telekinetic weaponry at all, she probably would utilize several at a time.  
Plus the artist was going for an ‘all the alicorns’ theme. :P

Yeah, she practical has BFG 9000 sticking out of her head, so four sword is a big downgrade.

Twilight doesn’t strike as a weapon user. The weapon choices for the the other three are perfect though.
