Description
Instead of the usual Image Macro, I decided to dedicate this image to the late Satoru Iwata by having his Ponified(Or rather Alicornified) self hold the Bananas. Why I don’t have the Japanese Kanji picture, is because I couldn’t find a high quality image(At least around 4K) of said picture that displayed the Kanji in Great detail.

He was really a founding father of Nintendo.
We owe many great games to him.
He was also a nice guy, back when Nintendo was having financial trouble, he gave himself a pay-cut rather then lay off any employees. Not many CEOs would do that.
Also he helped fixing the bugs in Smash Bros Melee

Didn’t the bananas gag come from when they announced “Donkey Kong Country Returns” years back? (Which I bought for 3DS recently BTW.)
Indeed. Not to mention, he saved “EarthBound/Mother 2” when the developers of it were having a hard time making it. (To the point, where they almost canned the project.) He helped reprogram almost the whole game by himself in order for it to work properly.
Speaking of which, EB/Mother series creator/writer Mr. Itoi had some deep words to say about Iwata’s passing.
You also forgot: He helped program Kanto in Pokemon Gold and Silver. Now that’s epicness.
Iwata apparently also helped with the Kirby series, and worked for HAL prior to working for Nintendo. He also worked on Balloon Fight, and the Adventures of Lolo games.
