Alright, so in the season 4 premiere, Twilight can use the Sonic Rainboom from RD’s training, and in the season 5 episode: Castle Sweet Castle, she apparently has the stamina to do 100 races! This should explain how she was able to do this. Then again in the season 4 premiere she did fly from Canterlot to Ponyville, so doing it in reverse isn’t that different.
