True enough. And on top of that, remember in the Pinkie Sense episode where Twilight talks about the application of magic? Yeah, she forgot to mention that the Element of Magic is the only exception; incredibly hard to control and, unless used like a fine-tuned instrument, incredibly dangerous and random.

MLP magic always terrified me. These aren’t some pansy pixie enchantments. Stronger spells seem to overpower the caster completely, sometimes causing great discomfort.
 
Think back to season 1, episode “The Ticketmaster.” Twilight teleports herself and Spike away from the crowd of manic ponies. Spike’s scales were slightly scorched in the process. Dragons are fireproof!
 
Yeah, Equestrian magic is not to be taken lightly.
