Actually even longer, while it is (or was originally) suppose to come out tomorrow (February 9th, 2016) it has been delayed until January 10th, 2017! I could make a comparison to G.M. Berrow and A.K. Yearling I suppose but I don’t want to cause any trouble.

I’m having severe problems trying to find the preorder or existence of this one at all. It’s in their release catalog for late 2015/early 2016 but other than that, nothing.

I just found out this won’t come out until next February.

Let me guess, Trixie overthrew the queen, then became their new queen? Shadow clone jutsu for the win?

Not to give away too many spoilers, but basically Trixie is touring a rural Earth Pony town with her friend Cyrano, when Princess Celestia arrives to deliver some magical wheat seeds. Trixie hangs out with some of Celestia’s guard ponies between shows, and becomes friendly with most of them. However, every time she eats some of the wheat, she gives birth to another Trixie. Soon there were Trixies everywhere, getting in everypony else’s way. Then some Changelings arrived, and all the Trixies took an instant dislike to them despite never having met one before. But soon all the Trixies began vanishing, except the original, and Celestia figured out it was because the wheat had been poisoned. One of the guard ponies who had run afoul of Trixie early on was then revealed by her to actually be a Changeling in disguise. Having been found out, without the benefit of all the town’s ponies being weak with poison, the Changelings beat a retreat. However, Celestia teleported the original Trixie into their midst along with a feedbag of un-poisoned wheat, in the hopes that chaos would ensue as she multiplied and outnumbered them in their own hive.

The “The Trouble with Trixie” title makes me cautious, but I will be optimistic.
 
Though I will say it’s kind of funny that the description of nearly every chapter book states the central character is a “fan favorite.” Says something about us, doesn’t it?

Mastermax888 is a YouTuber who was a huge Trixie fan but now the dude literally just does reaction videos to fnaf animations. He’s the brony version of Smike.
