Well?
Go out n’ start sniffin’. Report back to me in O-Now-Hundred hours, three days from now.
Magazines are made of a different material. This may make more sense (or less sense; depends on the person XD ) if I knew the chemical make-up of the material used in book paper, toilet paper, paper towels, magazine paper, cardboard, higher-grade carboard, highest-grade cardboard, and wood. >w<
What, no Wonderbolts photo albums?
Rainbow’s only books consist of the current number of Daring Do volumes. :j
Well, the problem is, there’d undoubtedly be several other ponies with several other books, so there’d have to be something specifically in Daring Do books, to cause the changeling to find it seemingly so fast.
Or ordinary damn paper that smells like trees. We can’t smell them, but anthropomorphs can. We can taste the difference between different kinds of water, but I’d assume animorphs can tell the different scents. The microscopic materials in water is what makes each glass drawn from the same tap different. Paper, wood, rocks, and sediment probably have the same properties. The only way we can tell the difference between such things is if it’s covered in oil or mixed with Kool-Aid or is made of sulfar. :P
Maybe, I guess it’d make sense if all Daring Do books were made with some rare paper that smelled a specific way…
Books have a smell, with its organic materials. Animals may recognize different books from their different scents, but aren’t sapient enough to say or care about how they are different. If one is a pony, or a furry, and the spend eons reading books… :j
Or Sugarcube Corner… it IS a bakery, after all…
… Or better yet, a library.
Following one’s nose might just be semi-reliable for pones & ‘lings, though now I’m thinking Scout needs to detour through a perfume shop or something.
How do they even FIND the books they can’t possibly see?
What, do they have a distinct smell?
I’m certain feeding off positive emotions and hobbies are different for them. X3
Yep… im done here
