If there is a cutie mark for “extremely ticklish” though, I’d want it.
Probably not 100% identical cutie marks exist, even if the talents are similar.
But if they did discover two ponies with identical cutie marks, it would be in the news for weeks.
Seems far less likely, since they’ve far more hues in their, well, their colours are on their fur instead of our skin pigments. Plus, their and our hair, but the fur thing is the big difference. Plus, human-horses in EG probably have skin, but we don’t know for sure. :P
OK, so there are loads of ponies with similar talents, even for some that are pretty niche. But how often are cutie-marks identical, I wonder? Like the instances of “identical strangers” that have been documented in the real world…
Understandably, identical strangers are quite rare, but it’s theorised that everyone has up to 6 perfect doubles in the world. Now obviously, Equestria has a far smaller population than Earth, so I wonder if they have perfect doppelgangers in their world too?
Pinkie Pie, Cheese Sandwich and Party Favor have similar special talents, so (usually) no one actually monopolizes any certain skill Equestria-wide. Each town and city has their own Pinkie Pie equivalent, for example. Certain talents are really unique (Celestia & Luna obviously) and some can be extremely niche, but most talents are shared between multiple ponies. Equestria has thousands of party ponies, animal caretakers, book lovers, fashionistas, apple farmers, fast-flying contrail-leaving weather ponies, lyre players, slightly derped mailponies, and so on.
