“Enter Cloud Chaser the Clavicle Breaker and Starry Eyes the Menacing, once normal weather ponies until they were approached by Princess Twilight Sparkle to try out to be one of the guards of harmony on Rainbow Dash’s recommendation.
Twilight, remembering Cloud Chaser’s help during the breezie situation and Starry Eyes’ courage during his time in the Wonderbolt Reserves, thought that they would be just the gentle hooves that Fluttershy would need as well as being acceptable protectors. However, during tryouts, the duo turned out to be much more deadly than Twilight had anticipated. They obliterated the competition and injured most of the other ponies.
Interestingly, they were like puppies towards Fluttershy but they would fight ruthlessly to defend her. Thus they were dubbed the “Watchdogs of Kindness”.”

At least fluttershy is no longer just a Rainbow Dash recolour. Give the team that makes the blindbags enough time and they might start using proper names…
Until then just keep in mind that they have failed to use canonical names from the show several times.
TrixieLulamoon for example….Ok, my mistake on the credits. I wish they would’ve just given Band Pony the unused Stormwalker name. I guess we should consider ourselves lucky if the blindbags even have the right colors.
Back when that card was first unveiled I was a bit unsure about tagging it since that tag is already associated with another noun. His fannames beforethen consisted of “Mercury” and “Milky Way” (even though there’s a g1 pony, there was still searching with terms like “
milky way, -mercury
”), which at least the former has generally stuck around long enough with people here.Though, Band Pony’s credit from It Ain’t Easy Being Breezies was actually that, Band Pony. The “Cloud Chaser” name came from the blindbags which only caused more hoopla since we already have the one named “Stormwalker” at least in the production studio:
Starry Eyes has the fan name Mercury.
“Cloud Chaser” is known around here as Band Pony but was credited in It Ain’t Easy Being Breezies under the name Cloud Chaser.
Pure coincidence. These are totally original characters. do not steal
Couldn’t you tell from their names? Their edgy poses. The way they are being overly protective of fluttershy. No OC has ever done any of that.
Cloudchaser AKA Stormwalker is the canon pony.
@FanOfMostEverything
There is big difference in weight between the flap of a saddlebag and the weapons they are holding but whatever. Wing hands are better than them gripping with their mouths.
Isn’t there already a canon pony named that? Or does that stallion not realise he has a girls name?
Not seeing the difference between opening a saddlebag and gripping a weapon.
Their feathers can be unusually stiff, to the point that they can lift or push without them bending or breaking, but they don’t act like opposable digits.
Fluttershy begs to differ.
