I doubt they will kill off quicksilver, because they will need new avengers for future movies, cause RDJ, Chris Hemsworth, and Chris Evans’ contracts will eventually expire and they might not want to do future movies. Plus I ||heard that thor has a personal loss in the movie, and since Eric Selvig has been confirmed to be in the movie, I believe he will be killed off. ||
Age of Ultron spoilers: I think it was more like an educated guess by everyone. We already knew all the original members were going to survive, since they are slated to appear in future movies, and killing Wanda would cause an outrage considering the flak Marvel is getting for not having enough diversity in the hero lineup (in matters of race and gender). The Vision existence on the film itself was supposedly a big surprise, so killing him/it would lack in the surprise factor with the public. Quicksilver was the most likely choice if someone had to die.
