People say this about PETA and Westboro all the time, but I can’t says this about a company that makes the people it’s “helping” seem like a “burden that’ll tear families apart and bankrupt you and make you embarrassed to go out in public” (ala their famous commercial), supports a prison disguised as a school that still uses corporal punishment on steroids to punish mentally handicapped people (or just problem students who DON’T have any mental issues), claimed that autism was caused by life saving vaccines (by citing the same, already dissproven cherry picked study) and putting not only the kids but those of us who have weak-to-non-existent immune systems at risk, and asks for money to attempt to cure something GENETIC that very, VERY likely has multiple genes responsible for it instead of one (meaning that gene editing/erasure is out of the question)??? That’s bullshit.

As if autism is not some sort of handicap.

Having lived with Autism all my life (Duh) and seen what Autism Speaks does, I 9001% agree with this picture

I doubt this is relevant, but DirecTV uses the same tactics: A shitton of their profits is wasted on advertising in leau of quality service. While I greatly enjoyed one of their ads involving robot ninjas, I completely understand why they suck based on just that one ad. :j
