What about the comics?

So this shows that Chrysalis is actually immortal? Very interesting. I actually always perceived her as NOT being, despite her size and powers. Granted, the comics still aren’t technically canon, but since they’re the next closest thing, this is definitely making me think.

You seem to misunderstand, the Enterplay cards are officially licensed not official, meaning Hasbro give the okay for them to be made but staff that know the canon info are not the ones in charge of what they say.

My point being, I really REALLY wish they would talk to each other more because they end up stepping on each others toes and ideas too much.

Can you please show me that? Because it’s news to me, it also means that I don’t know what to accept as cannon any more of these things directly contradict each other, the fact that the fans influence them is irrelevant because they are official.

…… okay the last comic drove me to madness, the preview of the fourth comic grinds me gears, but this one i might like a little bit.
 
while the whole set up to that bit of her history is a bit contrived, i do like that they actually altered it into a prison rather than letting the pinkie suite somehow keep her at bay.  
also i am rather loving her obvious mental breakdown here after she learned twilight was an alicorn.
 
also the hibernation pods rather make sense. can’t feed, so they probably have to sleep.

That means nothing as it seem it can’t even keep it’s own info right.  
Is Series 1 it listed there type as pegasus and unicorn then in Series 2 it was pegasus/unicorn/earth.

The Enterplay cards are also very heavily influenced by the fandom.
 
The Journal of the Two Sisters states that alicorns aren’t immortal; they just have ridiculously long lifespans.

Surely a few years had to have passed since the start of the story though? I’d say at least three years. Hmm, maybe fighting Chrysalis was the first challenge Celestia had to face completely by herself.

So crysalis has been alive for over 1000 years too, that’s another immortal. I wonder what canon they are going to shoehorn in to mlp next?
