I think you’re the one with short term member; did you forget that he was mainly doing that in spite of Spike so he would get in trouble?
 
And “Keep clam and Flutter On” wasn’t OoC, he being a whiny fool to flutter in Baby Cakes too.
 
I agree that Fluttershy does love him, but he’s jerk to her too from time to time.

Fluttershy loves Angel. Except for that weird OoC episode where Angel hits her he is always doing nice things for her. Flutterfans have such short memories. He keeps her schedule, helps her reach things, comforts her, steals tickets for her, turns away bullies, trains her in sports, cooks food for her friends, keeps her honest and stars in plays to help her friends. He even goes all the way to the Crystal Empire just to see her.
 
Angel is a jerk to everyone but Fluttershy… terribad salad episode excluded, Angel is her Spike.
