@441TheSecond
It’s only 2 pages, I don’t think the entire story is just going to focus on his not-so-tragic childhood alone.
Besides, you can just ignore the comic, if it upsets you so much. Nearly every new issue seems to anger you, so I don’t know why you even care what happens in them still.
I have my doubts to, and as I admitted I hope they don’t try to make him to watered-down, and to sympathetic, but as I said I want to see where this issue goes first before I start criticizing it.
@Beau Skunky
But Sombra’s my favorite villain in the show, why the fuck can’t I want for him to be done justice, especially when he’s fucking hated by 99% of the fandom already?
Also, honestly, I want to see where they’re going with this. As PonyPon said it’s not a “terrible terrible childhood” yet, and they might focus on other parts of his life to as he gets older, and goes down the road to darkness.
I just hope they don’t try to make him to sympathetic, or “water” him down to much, as King Sombra was supposed to be like this heartless monster.

Dude, chill… Go back to reading your Megaman comics, and take a deep breath.
@Background Pony #710F
I’m hoping that he sets out to try to figure out where he came from (And so we know what “sombra” means in context), rather than just handwaving the rest of that away to show how he goes evil.

>…… sooo? it is something that has been done before and will be done again.
That’s the fucking problem, it’s been done to death. I don’t want everything under the sun to be 100% new because that’s impossible, I just ask for effort to make something that has been done to death into something that feels somewhat fresh.
I mean, Sombra is already the least defined villain in the show, you have full ability to GO NUTS with his backstory, why are you settling for the most bog-standard story out there?

…… sooo? it is something that has been done before and will be done again.
i however do like the idea that the reason he is rejected isn’t because ‘oh new guy hate him’ it more that he sensibly does not fit in, both behind in education and social interaction.
@Jarkes
it really isn’t horrible from the looks of it. just difficult. i actually REALLY like that they really take into account what memory loss would mean. he is uneducated and has to learn to read and write. and it ultimately makes him a bit of an outcast because he is so behind.
