I meant..I knew this as a raster drawing, by ShadowSquirrel. I thought this was a well known drawing. I am not saying anything bad, I was just surprised people didn’t knew about it. I really like this drawing, I was just confused. Sorry if it came out sounding harsh or anything..
The updated, shaded version was uploaded to dA on 2 May 2013. (I was aiming to finish the shading by the third of May 2013, the 205th anniversary of Goya’s masterpiece, and I came up early.) This was followed by a critique of the original Cadance Uses Lick, in which I gave 20/20 stars. By that time, I had already shot to stardom.
Oh, and regarding that Pixiv version a few days earlier. I tried to upload the full-resolution image - it’s 6.6 MB, below the 8 MB limit for a single Pixiv work - but the servers timed out.
So when I initially made this image and it got on Derpibooru, there was a large commotion. After I added shading, and when the updated image was synced up, bombshells descended.
This image (as I write) has 969 favourites on dA, and is the most popular derivative of Karol Pawlinski’s works on Derpibooru, 14th most popular if the original works are thrown into the mix. I was expecting this popularity to arrive, though - I had “calculated” it when choosing the image I was going to make a vector out of, Cadance Uses Lick.

There was a first version of the vector made 6ish months ago. Few days ago it was updated with a lot more detail, but uploaded here at a preview-res. Today that same version was uploaded at the full resolution.
So in a way it’s a mix of new and “I forgot about this one”.
Blatant, picture-dominating plotshot plus visible licking of a lollipop (where, in my experience, sucking is by far the dominant method of lollipop eating).
Can’t say much for the eyes - I’m mostly getting a thoughtful impression from them, like she’s not really paying attention to the candy (alternatively, that she’s paying especially careful attention to its taste).
