McNum: A bit of headcanon come to life.
What DID happen to the Element of Magic on the night of Luna’s banishment? The other five were found on the pedestal, but petrified in place, yet Magic was gone until Twilight managed to remake it.
And then it hit me. Only one pony would know.
And she, by her own admission is “no longer able to use the elements”. So I took the most extreme reading of that and came to this conlclusion: “Celestia broke it.” And then I had to draw that.
