Based on the explanation of the Black Locks in Dual Destinies, Trixie has some secret about Twilight that she’s repressed to the point that she isn’t even aware that she’s repressed it.

Whether that is her absolute envy from their fillyhoods, her possible attraction to Twilight, or what is up in the air.

Not like we’re ever going to get a sequel from Turnabout Storm’s creator, since she’s one of those who basically jumped ship when Twicorn happened.
