I still do not think this will make it to the eyes of the public, or that many eyes of the public, or arguably the most important of all, the eyes of the public customers of these comics / toys for Hasbro.
 
at least to my knowledge, those people don’t browse Tumblr and these type drama.
 
anyway, I’m mostly neutral to the comics and I just can’t be brought to care either way, the only thing I’m looking at is from the perspective of a business and how they actually work with public, or have shown to be working as. Realistically speaking, these kinds of things are the ones no one cares about even slightly, just like what we talk about in these relatively small sites here when compared to something like Facebook or Twitter.

Normally, yeah. But when you have a thousand internet eyes watching you just waiting to make a big deal out of every little fuckup you make it’s going to be spread and known. And when you like to like and reblog controversial stuff, that’s an issue. It’s wrong of folks to make such a big deal out of things, but it’s also wrong to expect people to not make a deal out of something. All this needs to pretty much destroy IDW’s comic run is mainstream attention. One little mention in an article or media that the consumer majority happens to see.
 
Let me make it clear that I’m mostly neutral about the comics. I’m not a fan of them because I find the writing as a whole sub-par and uninteresting. I had Ted pegged as a piece of shit as soon as he reblogged the anti-Charlie Hebdo thing, but that has nothing to do with the comics (or my disinterest therein). I’m just calling it as I see it. Right or wrong, that’s how it works.

let me get this straight, the one you mean is the one he put a like on, I assume? one we can’t confirm for sure that he shares his full feelings with it, as seen previously with the other thing he did for the dragondicks OC in his statement, but unlike that one, not printed clearly on a page of the IDW comic released in about an estimate of, up to 100,000 clients.
 
I get that people hate him, but this is why some call this scrapping the bottom of the barrel, even if he had actually said some stupid stuff in that reblogging, which he didn’t, no one will see it, or in better words, no potential mass awareness would be spread of it to their clients (even more specifically, the parents of children buying these comics).

I was more getting at him reblogging the Coco Pommel Nazi post. Hasbro could yank IDW’s entire contract for that if they cared enough to do something about it.

I don’t really see how you could convince them to sit him down though with such a case.. Really, what he does outside of the comics is his business and I’d rather it stayed that way, because one day even though you might find it unlikely, someone might stumble across your favorite site that has horse porn for one thing and people could seriously affect your personal life with such controversies that happen outside of the work place’s standards.

Taunting people after the whole cameo thing was pretty clearly intentional, but checking Charlie Hebdo’s privilege and stuff like that was just him being a douche. Either way it still gives people valid reason to dislike him.

More like Teen Titans… just with two letters. Anyways, I’m just really sickened and dissapointed with artists: Tarajenkins and Sunshinederp/Peachiekeenie. I wouldn’t mind much that they’re fans of her art, but this is way too fucking ridiculous. I mean hell, Sunshinederp just lied about Tenaflyviper having ads and shit all over her Tumblr blog. I mean, liking someone you dislike is one thing; but lying on someone who is trying to call out on someone’s bullshit is retarded at the most.

Everyone is talking about a douchebag trying to troll the fandom and SJWs, and all I can see in the image is “PB” and think of Ponibooru.

All things considered, since it was addressed in such an unprofessional manner, I really don’t blame folks for being sore about it. Ted repeatedly egging on the pissed off people really turned them against him. For example, here’s him swinging by Catfood-McFly’s comic that lampooned it:  
 
So you’ve got this thread full of pissed off fans, and he basically dances a little jig and says “U Mad?” And this is well after the matter was “settled” by IDW.
 
What I’m saying, is people would let it go if the man would just stop giving them more rope to hang onto. I get that you’re sick of it, and I understand entirely that you think it isn’t right that people keep picking at the comics over this, but if anything, IDW really needs to sit this guy down and basically say “enough.”

that’s actually a fair thing to say. My belief is that’s what they had in mind, but fucked up in giving the right words for a report.
 
really though, I still have 0 tolerance for anyone picking apart at them for dealing with these things like a mature and professional organization, excluding irrelevant things from that management meeting like, a second hand witness in the form of the Fandom. That is fucking stupid, you don’t attend a business’s core staff meetings that you’re not a part of, it’s their job to get their shit together and not yours to police them all over the place.
 
and you know, to an extent I actually do believe that the fans defending IDW have a point, people who pick apart at it are far too hostile and aggressive in their attempts to “Correct” all the wrongs of IDW. If I was given more reason to believe that our side of the issue had more tact and knew when Not To Act Out Of Fucking Place! I would be more inclined to believe otherwise, but far too many times people have proven me wrong here, the same 2-4 people I guess, but their opinions are pretty much rebated by most other people who share their feelings.
 
can you tell I’m just apathetic towards the whole thing? because I really am. Instead of having just a simple thing, some of us feel this need to bring a militia type mentality in our midst for what is essentially an insipid family friendly comic book about pastel colored ponies.

I happen to be one of those who don’t know. I browse the drama in the comments tag to get some of the more important issues happening among bronies. Most of the time, I haven’t a clue about what’s happening, and I certainly don’t have the resources to peruse every article on every issue.

I don’t think there’s any doubt that she tried to use Nazi policy to increase her power and wealth at the expense of Jews, which is skeevy enough. But to claim that Coco Pommel is based on Coco Chanel, when anyone giving the matter more than two seconds’ thought will conclude they just used the name to have a horse pun on one of the few famous fashion designers’ names that the target audience may have heard of before, is so ludicrously over the top that mockery is the only proper response.
