Relax, there’s no need for excuses when it comes to these things. :)
Well excuse me for not conforming to your opinion.
The concept of power levels personally bugs me when it comes to magic. I have an opinion that magic should be an unmeasurable phenomenon, otherwise it’s not magical, but physical.
I believe they call them… Power Levels…
I do love it when magic becomes a measurable one-dimensionable value.
If I’d make a guess, that tapestry has something to do with it. Sort of a power boost for every CM stolen. Yes, Tirek already did something like that but, as I said, I believe that tapestry is like a portal/seal.
@Xidphel
Yeah. The way they hype Twilight (and by extension, Cadance), they seem to be even more powerful than Celestia and Luna.
Who cares about Celestia’s level, Twilight seems pretty high up as is compared to the average threat level.
Who knows? Maybe that tapestry is a portal. Maybe it needs cutie marks.
@OneAmongOthers
I doubt she’s around Celestia’s level, honestly. And even she isn’t infallible.
Also,
heh. “plot”.
It’s like the writers have nothing else creative and are just falling back on the usual. Then again I think I may be over analyzing this since it is a show made pretty much for a younger audience.
Sadly a repetitive trend. What the point of her being this all powerful alicorn if she can so easily be won over by a single unicorn?
Welcome to writing 101.
It’s just tradition by now.
