From what I can tell, the foremost thing that bothers people is obviously the shipping aspect, which basically amounts to nothing. She seems to be much older and a much larger size than Spike anyway, if the usual anti-Spike-shipping arguments still apply. The other thing seems to be the somewhat SJW attitude she displayed regarding the conflict. I guess some people are just fed up with that sort of political correct mentality, though it’s basically unavoidable with a topic such as this.
