Curly Howard: “Well, fellas. We had a great time do our bands on going and as long as Pinkie Pie is with us.”
Pinkie Pie: “Thanks, Curly. I am so happy to be with you three guys.”
Moe Howard: “Aw, that’s so sweet of you, Pinkie.
Larry Fine: “Yeah, except I have a little trouble at the form school.”
Moe Howard: “Look who’s talking for been a tattletale.”
Curly Howard: “Certainly, buddy boy. What is the big idea, anyway?”

As Curly reach out his hand and bonk on Larry’s nose.

Larry Fine: “Ow!”

It’s kind of confusing but Pinkie Pie enjoy laughing and the Three Stooges join in and the four love to laugh forever.

I agree. You have to seek it out, but Shemp did some solo work as a character actor, usually in comedy relief roles. He wasn’t half bad and was able to steal the occasional scene.

Actually, I’ve seen at least a couple of people defend Joe Besser; it’s just that the budgets for the shorts had deteriorated so badly by the time he joined that they couldn’t afford good writers, sets, or anything else, really. Pretty much no one would have been able to salvage the last few years of their shorts’ run.
@Kirb
As much as I love Curly and think he was a perfect fit with Moe and Larry, Shemp probably was a better comic actor in general. He had carved out a moderately-successful career on his own, actually, and had to give it up to rejoin Moe and Larry after Curly’s stroke.

I have to agree about Shemp, he’s pretty funny if can catch him in movies like “Africa Screams” and “The Invsible Girl.”

Also agreed on Joe Besser’s Stooges career. All that you said about him is true; and contrary to opinion, he did get socked a few times during his tenure with the Stooges. The main problem was that his style of comedy was rather different than Moe and Larry’s and they didn’t always mesh very well. I seem to recall that Joe himself called it ‘Two Stooges and a Stand-In’.

And good to hear that he has some fans/

I know that Moe and Curly are the popular ones, and Larry is the equivalent in this group to Ringo Star.

@CutieMarks2015
That’d certainly make the crappy 3 stooges movie remake better: if it was a crossover with MLP and had Pinkie Pie in it.

Huh, never noticed before now that the site has more single pics of Moe (11) than Curly (9). I always thought Curly was the popular one.
