Trump likes the idea of handing out people's country's to himself and Putin .So perhaps Alaska should be returned to Russia as there were there first.Just like the other country he supports we were here first they say so 2.5 million people should moved elsewhere .

They should just live with the fact that Canadian deal makers are better than they are at the art of the deal.

Trump should take his domestic win, getting United Stateiens to call the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America.
The rest of us Americans will continue to call it the Gulf of Mexico.
United Stateiens have always been the whiniest and weirdest Americans.

So its still very early in his second term, and we'll see what happens in 6 months, a year, etc.
But so far, Trump is exceeding expectations.

Well when one is triggered because of something someone else has done there are choices.
1) try some empathy, see can you at.least understand the other persons actions.
2) communicate your displeasure to the other person and try to bring them around to your view.
3) whine, bitch and moan. Fall on the floor kicking and screaming. Insult, offend, and spew.
4) shrug and walk away.

Now, what one can expect, based on their actions;
1) with understanding comes peace.
2) even if you fail to sway the other persons position you can find yourself at option 1, where peace awaits.
3) nothing will change, you may amuse or alarm others, and if you aren't careful your clothes will be dirty.
4) nothing will change but also you won't care.

Thankfully it isn't shooters day to deal with triggered butt hurt Canadians. He's pretty sure they'll be sticking with number 3.

 

Its interesting that of all the countries trump has aimed his tarriffs ray gun at, Canada has reacted with anger, insults and threats.

Every country has tarriffs and every country uses them to advance policies and trade.

Every other country got the message and negotiated. Every other country has kept positive relations with the US.

For decades the tarriffs America has paid have been higher than the tarriffs they imposed on other countries.

No matter.

Canada now, Canada doesn't like being threatened. They don't like this 51st state spew.
They're pissed. Just business? Fuck that! How dare this orange man threaten! How dare this felon offend them! How dare he try to level the tarriffs!

So now trump is offering reciprocal tarriffs. What some country charges us, we'll charge them.
Huh. Wonder why no one else thought of that?

Wonder how pissed Canada will be with this idea? Wonder what they'll complain about?

Lack of empathy? They came right out of the gate blaming every American for Trump's least utterance. Not even a "do you agree?" Or really much of anything but the same old attack spew liberals have fallen back on from when trump came down the escalator.

Apparently some school districts in Canada are cancelling their US field trips due to “safety concerns.” And other school districts are going to follow.

 

It's like if you don't like a new shop keeper because of his attitude you take your money elsewhere even if you shopped there for years.

 

The Canadian fans at the hokey game between the United States and Canada last night were absolutely disgraceful. Booing another country’s national anthem is distasteful and childish.

Leave politics where it belongs and leave it out of sports. I believe in standing up and showing respect for any country’s anthem. China, Russia, Canada, I don’t give a fuck. The players have no say in their country’s politics. You’re shaming and insulting your country by showing your ignorance and lack of class. It was uncalled for.

The current issues with Canada are a great example of what happens when you allow your "friends" to take advantage of you.....

For decades the US has supported Canada's defense and economy. As a result the relationship has become complacent.. Good relationships are built on respect, not appeasement... I hope we find a solution we all can accept....

And you can throw about all the big numbers you want. But how about the less obvious numbers? We are your largest foreign tourists. Our boycott might cost over 140,000 hospitality jobs. How about the housing market in Florida being flooded by Canadians selling their homes? What about the help we give you without being asked (like the water bombers just a month ago for California)? And like it or not, we are one of your top trading partners (with Mexico and China).

Now maybe if he was just going after Canada we might be more worried. But the fact Trump is going after everyone is a you problem. You’re losing friends fast. You’re like the Kardashians of the world.
