Of course, it’s a double-edged sword for the poor dears too. They like to wrap around each other, even when meeting for the first time, to share body heat and of course to get each other’s scents with their tongues.
 
Unfortunately, most species like ponies mistake this as “attempting to constrict” and “tasting them”, which doesn’t do their predator stereotype any favors. It’s not to say they aren’t carnivores because they very much are (though they occasionally eat non-meats, but mostly as treats), but they’re very human in the sense where they’d see preying on a sapient species as murder and wrong. Of course, there _is the occasional villain (evil exists everywhere, after all), like a certain exiled villain who was a terrible influence on his daughter :P

Well if your anything like an actual coral snake your fangs are set in the back of your jaw so biting would only be risky for fingers and toes and….other parts.

While I understand the needs to reproduce, I don’t really get the practical use for seduction magic. Again, I’m aware of their needs for food and mating, but other than that, I don’t see much of a practical use that could benefit from seductive magic.
