He’s generally the most level-headed and compassionate character in the strip, so… oddly, yeah.
I mean, if you can get over the whole “fat slob wearing a fedora and covered in Cheeto dust” thing anyway xD .
ugh, she identifies as something else, a zebra or like, last I checked.
I’m coming from the belief that there’s just truth and false. That’s not to denounce how a person came to believe in something or falsely came to believe in a lie (a nothing,) though; it’s a case by case basis and I don’t want to rock the boa (the boat being life) to the point of tipping it over (though I could swim if it’s water, not so if it’s acid.) But, I also don’t want to mistake not rocking the boat for rocking it. And if I ever feel as if I’m believing in a lie, there’s this overwhelming and just plain wrong feeling as if I have cut off life from myself and all others by believing in that lie/misunderstanding/falsehood/nothing/etc.

I hope the saying “That is the blunt” catches on, whether I’m credited for it or not. I believe it makes interesting sense and clarity for pointing out fallacies such as hypocrisy. (Well, I did post as a Background Pony though I am a user on this website.)
“that is the blunt” perfectly describes quite a number of the Fury Belle strips; thanks! (Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s something I can take only in small doses.)

I actually don’t go on Tumblr much in terms of being able to locate actual tumblr-based ‘activists’. I just hang around the tumblr-owners who make art or have interesting pony-characters. Heh…
As for ‘evil’, that’s really a term based on perception. There’s so much “grey area” between ‘good’ and ‘evil’, that I try to understand a stance completely, rather than call it one or the other, as so very few things can be described as either term by EVERYONE these days. Some see ‘evil’ and perceive it as justified to the point where it’s ‘good’, and vice-versa.
Fury Belle, thankfully, isn’t meant to be taken seriously, and whose ideas only work in the naïve minds of the ponies throughout Equestria. That’s one of the things that keeps the tumblr’s ‘source’ alive, is the almost indefinite amount of ammunition that’s available. It’s stereotypical, and “Equestria” allows it to remain that way.
Gee, I’m reminded so much of “It’s A Wonderful Life” after George Bailey wishes he was never born and after he’s thrown out of the bar with Clarence who then says something to the effect of “If a man doesn’t live he leaves such a hole around where he could have been.”
@ShimmeringStallion
But do you see? It’s just evil and a lack of caring, that is all and that is the blunt. (I say “That is the blunt” instead of “That is the point” if it’s the opposite of a point; It makes sense to me.) Evil leaves so many holes in floors and paths and doesn’t support anyone, because it’s like building a building without a foundation. It’s the total opposite of good, which is anything of good substance. Yet it’s avoidable to those who are careful and devastating to those who think they’re harming others (and may actually be doing so) when they’re actually doing it to themselves.
On another subject, If someone like Fury Belle were to attempt to falsely accuse me for me doing something good I’d actually be in a good place whereas they would not be. Coming from them, it would be a compliment whether they intended it like that or not.
And we’d all be drinkin’ that free bubble-up, and eatin’ that rainbow stew.
@ShimmeringStallion
True, but #3 does describe the majority of people in internet arguments. Especially tumblrite “activists” whose activism is defined by “signal boosting” and “culture jamming”, but really, it seems when most people get involved in an argument, they view everything through the lens of “How does this support my side or discredit the enemy?”
what else do I feed my cat? hey. this ain’t my fulltime job here; kitty will have to deal
Just like catfood-mcfly.
