what if the portal starts growing, sucking the entire world in it and then suddenly the world becomes Equestria and everyone is a pony? not and adult pony, a baby one…
Nations try to see where this portal goes to and once they do know they try to communicate with the ponies
3.Hasbro and Faust questioned and interrogated
4.Bronyism becomes a sub-culture mixing pony and human culture and possibly new religion
5.ponies fear humans due to “barbaric” ways
6.enter and stay in Equestria
There will be some confusion from everyone. You’ll have every religious nut job declaring this is the end times. Bronies would be celebrating. Me, I would be curious on HOW this happened.
I think sapience is a better barrier from other animals than technology, since a lot of animals can use/make tools, but I don’t know of many, or any really, with individual morals.
Dolphins are strange: They are very smart, altruistic, and can help humans drowning and from shark attacks. On the other hand, they are also notorious rapists and killers (as in for fun or bloodlust). So I guess we just have to take the good with the bad. :/
Well, you’re sorta right, but we can’t compare ourselves to animals any more. We’re both better and worse than them because of technology, because it enables to do great harm to many of our kind from a great distance, but again, the reverse is certainly true and not many animals would help other animals they’re not in a tribe with without incentive. Except maybe dolphins, they’re total bros.
Technically, Lium, we’re no more of a bastard species than any other animal.
Plus, survival of the fittest means a lot more than simply it’s literal definition: we’re a social animal, so arguably, we survived because of cooperation more than anything. We are a lot more complex than simply rage machines.
No because our ponies arn’t multi color talking magical creatives with butt tattoos
Jesus Christ people, you need to stop reading grim dark shit, it’s just as unrealistic as MLP G3 or something like that.
@Ze
You do know Ponies HAVE a concept of democracy right? Earth Ponies had one, and due to the mixing of the three ponies Equestria is a democratic monarchy. This due to the fact the ponies are a prey animal don’t have any real aggression (they would rather run for a fight), plus they’re not some tribe form Africa.
Real life it would probably be really boring and on C-Span.
Most mainstream religious are pro-alien, and the ideal that humans’ arn’t the only race God gave free will, the harry potter bashing ones are only found in the US.
Would nonspeaking ponies on farms be under suspension of being Equestrian insurgents?
Also, would the Natural stations and animal planet channels featuring ponies mating would be treated as Pay-per-View? bundled with the Playboy channel?
Actually, we would probably open up exploratory parties into Equestria, start trading, introduce the concept of democracy, provide weapons to both sides, wait for the region to destablize, THEN invade.
Let’s not forget the religious fundamentals trying to denounce magic-using ponies that control the weather and morphing materials are creatures of the devil. Most likely try to get military action to subjugate and demonize the sentient ponies.
“I don’t know why people all assume we’d just capture and experiment on a perfectly sentient species.
We’ve evolved over the past few millenia folks, we’ve got laws. We uphold them. We are logical, realistic people.”
If we were dealing with an alien race landing on Earth, I could understand that. What we’re dealing with here, however, is a sudden, inexplicable manifestation of a world based on a franchise of consumer products and cartoons that we created. Most logical people wouldn’t view them as another sentient species, but as some kind of artificial creation. They wouldn’t just assume that a world identical to a fictional one we created just happened to exist elsewhere in the universe, which is how most “human in Equestria” stories seem to go, and similar to the movie Space Jam, where a similar scenario occurred with the Looney Toons. Our immediate reaction, in addition to documenting the heck out of it, would be to find out just how and by whom Equestria and its inhabitants were created, by any means necessary.
