It is rather odd. I mean even those creatures from the scariest cave appeared again in Trade ya.
It’s just that every other time a new creature was introduced (the cockatrice, Philomena, the quarry eels) it was relevant to the episode. The star spiders appear, Fluttershy says a couple lines about them, and nothing happened.
They’re seasonal glow-in-the-dark spiders.
Nothing more, nothing less I guess.
I still think they look kinda cute.
