There are a few nurses who do the “hot nurse” stereotype role-play on their off-hours (and at home) because it so much not like their normal work that it takes their minds off it.
But it never happens at all when they are on the job.
Neither. Just someone who looks into myths, urban legends, etc - usually by talking to the people that are the subject of said myths and whatnot - to see whether or not they’re true. My great-uncle, a former nurse who though obviously not female himself had multiple coworkers who were women, can attest to how untrue the whole “hot nurse” stereotype is. Nurses may look hot, but chances are (as far as I’m aware) that funny business with patients is NOT what they’re thinking about. If it’s not because they’re exhausted, focused on work, or turned off from their work, it’s because they know how decidedly uncomfortable - if not excruciatingly painful - it would be for the patients in cases where they’re patients because of severe injuries, or frankly injuries of any type. That stuff still happens, of course…like, 0.00001% of the time.
Nastiness is nasty for a few months at most, then it’s just business as usual. You do get desensitised to anything after a while.
So… staff or patient? Or… ex-patient?
